I left a 5 star rating and after 3 months of use I am updating my review of this product. This product is extremely well made as far as hamster cages go BUT and there is a big BUT.........my daughters hamster is ill now and probably is going to die any day now. The hamster was in a Crittertrail 3 which gave the hamster tons of exercise because there is wire sides that the hamster can climb and go on shelves and things. In the habitrail ovo the only climbing is in the tubes....not enough and the main area of the cage is too small with not enough room for exercise. Our hamster also loved the wheel in the crittertrail but I never saw her use the one in the habitrail which is a large part of their exercise. I switched cages because the crittertrails plastic breaks all the time and I was replacing pieces quite often but I now relalize that was a big mistake. I will go back to the Crittertrail now and learn from my experience unfortunely our hamster paid a large price. She is old and now ill because of the lack of exercise. I took her to the vet but the news was not good.
