I've had the Ovo Pad for several days now and compared to other cages I've used, I think it's wonderful. The locking connectors with the rubber grips are superior to any other connectors I've used. The retractable lid makes it easier to reach what you want in the cage compared to other types that only use a small door. The water bottle is quite large and the cage itself is plenty big enough to use as a starter cage for young animals, but as they grow you will need to add to it to give them more room. The running wheel that comes with the ovo would work well for a hamster (I use a similar one for my Syrian hamster), but for mice it needs to be replaced with a solid surface wheel. (the type that can attach to the side of a wire cage, only in this case it will be attached to the side of the hideaway) Also compared to all the other cages I've ever used this cage is very easy to clean.
I recommend a Habitrail Ovo Pad to anyone who keeps hamsters or mice. :-)
